Vietnam’s Nguyen Huu Dung captured the title in Triton ONE Jeju Event #1 – $3,000 QQPK Genesis after three days of intense competition at LES A Casino. The tournament attracted a massive 1,236 entries, including 759 re-entries, creating one of the largest fields of the festival.
The event generated a total prize pool of $3,311,244. Nguyen turned his $3,000 buy-in into an impressive $586,000 payday, along with the first trophy of the series. After a grueling three-day battle at the tables, Nguyen shared his thoughts on the victory:
“I feel very happy because it was a really long tournament and I managed to win the trophy. This one is for my son—his birthday is this month, so I want to give this trophy to him as a gift.” ♠️
